Up for auction is my 1947 Lincoln Club Coupe, it is a "garage find", this car has been parked in a dry secure garage since 2000. That is also the last time it was on the road. The V12 motor runs smoothly, however the brakes are locked (I believe the parking brakes are froze) so the car is not currently driveable. The braking system will need to be overhauled as the brake pedal goes down to the floor when pushed. It has a 3 speed manual transmission on the the column.A newer ignition switch was installed by the previous owner, it's just below the dash, the original switch is still in the car in its proper place. The car retains its original interior and is in pretty decent shape for its age, no holes or tears, the only place that would need some attention is the drivers seat upper corner (see picture) the carpet will need to be replaced. The body of the car is very solid with no noticeable rust or major damage, it does have dents and dings as you would expect a 67 year old car to have. The front lower right and left grills are both damaged and will either need to be repaired or replaced. The hood ornament is also long gone, but they are available from various classic Lincoln parts vendors. I do have some documentation that this car spent many years in California, that paperwork will be provided with the car. This is a very nice fix and drive car or an amazing street rod project. Please ask me any and all questions prior to bidding. The car is being sold in "as-is" condition. Happy Bidding!!!
